Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is an organizer?

A professional who will help you make decisions to clear, organize and declutter your space. The role of the professional organizer is to develop systems that work with your lifestyle and can be easily maintained by all members of the family.

  • Why do I need one?

Life gets busy! You might have the best intentions to be more organized but don't have the time or energy to do it. A professional organizer will help you declutter and organize your home so you can have more time to do the things you enjoy!

  • How much will it cost?

It will depend on the project. In order to be the most effective, the minimum time frame that can be scheduled is one three-hour session for $150.

  • How do I get started?

You can contact me via email at or call 941-677-3161. We will then schedule a free phone consultation where we will discuss your needs and see if we are a good fit.

  • What is the typical process? What are the sessions like?

The first session usually consists of taking everything out and assessing what you are keeping and donating/trashing. The following sessions will focus on categorizing and finally containing and organizing your space!

  • I am embarrassed my house is too messy. Should I clean up before you come in?

No! I would like to see the space “as is” in order to assess what your needs are and your typical routine. You don’t need to be embarrassed. I am here to help!

  • Do I have to throw away items I would prefer to keep?

Absolutely not! I will highly encourage you to declutter and get rid of things that are broken, no longer used or needed but the final decision is yours. Please keep in mind you can only have the space or the stuff so if you want to simplify your home, decluttering is a big part of the process.

  • Are all services confidential?

Yes! I keep all my services, conversations and decisions extremely confidential. I do ask for permission to use photos of your space for marketing purposes but your name will never be associated with it, unless you want to.
